If you do not already know, I am a huge fan of horror fiction. So, you're probably not suprised from hearing a review about a horror novel right? Anyways, the review. I was browsing the shelves at the library one day when this particular book caught my eye.. I wasn't so sure about whether or not this was going to be a good book, but heck, I rented it anyways. What's to lose? I took it home and that night, I began to read. Wow was I wrong. This book was not only disturbing, gruesome, and gory, but it kept me entertained throughout the entire book as well. The plot is very interesting, and in my opinion, this book is a must read for any horror addict!

In this story, Donna and her daughter Sandy leave her home quickly as the news of her ex husband, Roy, is released from jail for committing Rape and other horrifying acts. On the way to escape, their car breaks down and they stay in Malcasa Point where they meet Jud and Larry. Soon Donna and Sandy learn the terrifying discovery that supposedly a beast lived in the depths of Beast House and had indeed murdered numerous amounts of people. With Roy stalking down Donna and Sandy, will they be able to escape? Also, will they escape the Beast?

By far, this book is a very horrifying read. That's all I can describe it as. Some parts of the book were so gruesome I almost had to put the book down. However, this book kept my interest there and I just couldn't. Not only is the gore plentiful throughout this book, but so is the sexual content.

I definitely recommend anyone who is a horror fiction fan to get a hold of this book! It's definitely a good read, and will definitely keep you on the edge until the twist at the end.

I'll be reviewing the next book in the series "The Beast House" shortly.
